Tiered pay scale linked to experience (circa £12.00 per hour)

24 days per year + 8 statutory (pro-rata)

Job role

To produce fabrications from drawings to a high standard in both weld quality and finish, utilising jigs as well as freehand skills.

Job specifics

• Use of Mig and other welding processes.
• Competent in Mig welding materials from 1.5mm to 20mm.
• Capable of interpreting engineering drawing standards.
• Use of hand tools associated with Fabrication and welding.
• Use of cutting, drilling, rolling and hand grinding machinery
• Maintain health and safety standards within the working environment.
• Keep a clean working area at all times.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or equivalent.
